This website was created in an effort to raise money to help in the fight for a cure for children with diabetes. Several years ago, our son was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at 1½ years of age. Our daughter was also diagnosed at the age of 12... I understand that it's probably difficult for others to truly understand the challenges they face everyday: multiple injections... multiple fingersticks... frequent hospitalizations... multiple tears. Its complications are devastating, and it affects all who care for them. Juvenile Diabetes never goes away...there is no vacation from it. Although manageable (with alot of ups and downs!), it is life-altering for them and for everyone who cares for them. Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation

Approximately 1.5 million Americans have juvenile (type 1) diabetes. This chronic disease effects every organ system and claims the life of one American every three minutes! Experts have been working diligently to find that cure, but we need YOUR help to continue that search. Proceeds from sales will be donated to the JUVENILE DIABETES RESEARCH FOUNDATION to help in the fight for that cure. Each donation, whether it be a penny, a quarter, or a dollar amount, brings us one step closer to finding a cure!
