My website was created in an effort to raise money to help in the fight for a cure for children with diabetes. Eleven years ago, fear became reality when our son was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at 1½ years of age. I understand that it's probably difficult for others to truly understand the challenges he has faced since that day: multiple injections... multiple fingersticks... frequent hospitalizations... multiple tears. Its complications are devastating, and it affects all who care for him. Juvenile Diabetes never goes away...there is no vacation from it. And everyday we pray that it won't be responsible for taking his life too soon. Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation

Approximately 1.5 million Americans have juvenile (type 1) diabetes. This chronic disease effects every organ system and claims the life of one American every three minutes! Experts have been working diligently to find that cure, but we need YOUR help to continue that search. Proceeds from sales will be donated to the JUVENILE DIABETES RESEARCH FOUNDATION quarterly to help in the fight for that cure. Each donation, whether it be a penny, a quarter, or a dollar amount that ANYONE donates, brings us one step closer to finding a cure!
